footsies translated into japanese is "ashisumo".....ashi means foot or feet, as there are no plurals, and sumo, means, well, sumo. i laughed for ten minutes after this discovery.
there is a multitude of other japanese idiosyncrasies that i wish to clue you in on, but do not have the time nor the frame of mind to do so. (thanks to a few beers payed for by my new married computer programer friend).
